A few days ago we were in Mesotopos , Lesvos island. A beautiful village with 1,000 inhabitants in the southwestern part of the island, built on a slope, which ends up in the sea in the area of Tavari and on the beautiful isolated beach of Chrousos .
We met Maria in our March meeting and from the first moment we were impressed with her personality, her open character and her big smile! When we met George few days later, we were sure that their only and common objective was to make a great wedding party and spend beautiful time with their families and close friends !
So we walked through the picturesque streets of Mesotopos and covered all the beautiful customs and traditions that help us to get to know the history of the area and the people there, as well as all the stories that lie behind these events. With our cameras, we “danced” the bride and the groom, “we went” the “baklava”(local sweet) from the bride’s father to the bridegroom and we lived the”odd” moment when at the end of the wedding ceremony, the friends of the best man and best maid, were “lifted” inside the church and pulled them out to have something promised , so they could let them down !
The next day photoshoot was held in Skala Eressos, in the picturesque chapel of Panagioudas.
Giorgo & Maria, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for honoring us to be with you! We filled ourselves with very beautiful pictures, but also especially with your smiles that made us happy all day long!
We wish you wholeheartedly to be as happy, beloved and smiling as the moment that you Maria sang to your husband “I only have a life, take it , is yours” and in your eyes we could clearly see all of your love for Giorgos …
A small preview of that wonderful day…
